Donald Allen Austin

Donald Allen Austin, 51, formerly of Bennington and West Burke, VT, passed away on October 10, 2023 in Daytona Beach, FL.

                  Donald was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on July 28, 1972 to the late Edgar and Ruth (Drew) Austin. He was raised in West Burke with his five siblings, attending Lyndon Institute through graduation.

                  Throughout his life, Donald enjoyed fishing, kayaking, camping, walking on the beach, rooting for the NY Giants, and participating in demolition derbies. He will be remembered as a man who was selfless in his help to others and who never expected anything in return.

                  In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother, Brian Austin.

                  Those who remain include Donald’s children, Andrew, Molly, and Bryan Austin of Bennington VT; his sister, Diane Austin of Williamstown VT; his brothers, William Austin of Palm Coast FL, Barry Austin of Lyndonville, and Gary Austin of Lyndonville VT; and many cousins,  nieces and nephews.

                  A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Hillside Cemetery in Burke, VT.
