Sutton,VT: Dennis Harold Fixx, Jr., 68, of Pudding Hill Road in Sutton, VT, died on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his home.
Dennis was born on July 11, 1949 in Lima, Ohio, son to Dennis and Josephine (Cira) Fixx, Sr. He was raised and educated in Lima graduating from Lima High School. Following high school, Dennis served stateside in the Army. In 1996, he married Kathleen Marie Boivin. Dennis worked as a truck driver and mechanic. In 2000, he and Kate moved from Massachusetts to their home in Sutton.
Dennis’ hobbies included riding his Harley and restoring old vehicles. He enjoyed travelling to Daytona, FL for Bike Week.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years: Kate Fixx of Sutton, VT; four sons: James Michael Fixx of Leominster, MA, Brandon Cairns of Lunenburg, MA, Dennis Cairns of Fitchburg, MA, and Michael Boivin of Fiskdale, MA; one daughter: Kayla Cairns of MA; two brothers: Kenneth Fixx of Lima, OH and Steve Fixx of WA; one sister: Christen Stutzman of Lima, OH; and nine grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Interment will be in Ohio.
