Deborah Ann Fellows, age 58, of Sheffield, VT, passed away at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Friday, June 19, 2015, surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with leukemia.
Debbie was born in Hardwick, VT, on March 18, 1957, to Vera Mae (Proper) and the late Clarence E. Judkins. She was raised and educated there and married Donald F. Fellows on 10/4/1989. They shared 27 years together and made their home in Sheffield raising nine children. Debbie was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, hunting, and fishing. Debbie was a giving soul, volunteering at the Sheffield Food Pantry and working at Community Lunches. She helped anyone with anything they needed. Deb was a member of the American Legion Post #7 in Hardwick and assisted in placing flags at the Veteran's graves for Memorial Day. Deb was beloved and will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Sheffield, her mother, Vera Mae Judkins, of Hardwick, eight daughters and one son: Amie Wright & (Michael) of Cabot, VT, Frank Fellows of Baldwin, MI, Kelly Foster & (Matt) of Craftsbury, VT, Anne Knights & (Jason Pott) of St. Johnsbury, Stacey Stevenson &(David) of Barnett, VT, Donna Santo of Concord, VT, Amber Davis &(Scott) of West Burke, VT, Casey Fellows &(Aaron Martin) of Hardwick, Megan Fellows &(Nicholas Newland) of Lyndonville, her four sisters and three half-brothers: Cheryl Judkins Gallant &(Roger Twing) of Hardwick, VT, Donna Judkins McConnell &(Brian Bernadino) of Hardwick, VT, Linda Judkins Dudley & (Frank) of Oklahoma, Patricia Judkins Allaire of ---,VT, Clarence Judkins JR &(Danielle) of Greensboro, VT, Lewis Judkins & (Jane) of Hyde park, VT, Ronald Judkins & (Kathy) of Connecticut. Aunt Barbara Proper & Cousins Ernie and David. Twenty-one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her father, Clarence Judkins, half-brother Gary Proper, and three nephews, Randy Judkins, Terri Judkins, and Wilfred Salls (Willie).
Friends may call on the family on Monday, June 22, 2015, from 1-2PM, at the Guibord Funeral Home, 15 Main Street in Lyndonville. Services will be held at 2PM officiated by John Sleeper with Burial to immediately follow at the Danville Green Cemetery in Danville, VT.
