Dawn Marie Austin Fenoff, age 44, of Wood Lane in Kirby, VT, passed away unexpectedly at her home early Sunday morning, July 31, 2016.
"Dubby Dawn" as she was affectionately called, was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on May 29, 1972, the daughter of Donald F. and Frances R. (Ash) Austin. She was raised and educated in Concord, VT graduating from Concord High School w the Class of 1990 and went to work at Maple Grove rising to Supervisor over the next 25 years being able to work in any position there. On July 4, 2001, she married her best friend, Brian R. Fenoff, and became each other's "Solid Half." Dawn had an infectious laugh and believed in everybody. She had a big heart and if you were her friend, she considered you her family. Dubby was an outdoor girl who loved fishing, gardening, four-wheeling, snow-machining or running a backhoe. Her family was very important to her as she was to them.
Dawn is survived by her beloved husband, Brian, of Kirby, her parents: Don and Fran of Concord, VT, her step-daughter: Skye Elliot of Sutton, her siblings: Dan Austin (Charity) of Concord, VT Theresa White (Jeffrey) of Athol, MA, Vicki Morehouse (Ceylon) of Concord, VT, Sherri Fournier (Chris) of Concord, VT, her in-laws: Cindy Larocque of St. Johnsbury and Brian Fenoff of Lyndonville, 2 sisters-in-law: Angela Sweeney (Mitchel) of Dalton, VT, Jessica Mazelli (Henry) of Dumerston, a brother-in-law: Chris McElroy (Ashley) of Concord and several cousins, nieces, nephews and all her pets that she considered her "babies."
Friends may call on the family from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury, VT.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, August 9th at the Concord Community Church 481 Main Street in Concord, VT, with the Pastor Josh Abetti officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Concord Cemetery.
The family has made arrangements so that family and friends may park at the foundry and the high school baseball field and there will be shuttles to transport to and from the church.
