Cheryl Ann Pare, age 68, of Shirley Lane, passed away at her home peacefully April 8, 2019.
Cheryl was born in Providence, RI, on September 2, 1950, to the late Thomas Henry and PeggyAnn Patricia (Sharkey) Page. She was raised and educated in Groton, VT and Scituate, RI graduating from Scituate High School in the Class of 1968. She has lived in Kirby for over 20 years and in Vermont most of her adult life including St. Johnsbury, Lyndonville, Shelburne, Montpelier, Plattsburg and Clifton Park, NY. Cheryl worked as a secretary for most all her life and was also the office manager for Dr. Towle in St. Johnsbury. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, and gardening and was a happy being a homebody.
She is survived by her 5 sisters: Connie Cummings (Robbie) of Abington, MA, Robin Santy (Gary) of Georgia, VT, Karen Thurston (Peter) of Fairlee, VT, Wendy Kidder of Bradford, Penny Brooks (Elwin) of Orford and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephew; she adored.
Cheryl was pre-deceased by her father, Thomas Gritman and her mother, PeggyAnn Page as well as her partner of over 16 years Donald Showalter in 2017.
Services will be private and there will be no calling hours at this time.
