Angela Wood

Angela J. Wood (Buck) with her husband by her side passed away peacefully into her next life on July 25, 2018, after a prolonged period of declining health.  She was 56 years old.

Angela was born December 7, 1961, to James Buck and Barbara Lamont.  She lived for a time in Massachusetts but eventually settled in New Hampshire.

Throughout her life, Angela worked many jobs including in home daycare.  If she didn’t watch your children, chances are it’s because she watched you! In her later years she was a cashier at Linda’s One Stop, and later did housekeeping in Franconia.

Angie loved music and her favorite hobby was playing the guitar.  She spent many hours learning new songs and she found great joy in playing.  She was an avid music collector, but when not playing or listening to music, she enjoyed going to the beach, collecting rocks, visiting with friends and spending time with her beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Sassy.

Above all, Angie excelled as a grandmother and cherished time spent with her grandchildren.  Being a Grammy was what she was most proud of.

Angie is survived by her husband, Brent Wood, as well as her three daughters: Marion Tattersall and husband, Travis, of Bath, NH, Carolyn Byrne of North Haverhill, NH, and Karen Bryne of North Haverhill, NH; five grandchildren: Caige Patten of St. Johnsbury, VT, Xadyn Patten of Bath, NH, Beau and Miura Tattersall of Whitefield, NH, and Quinn Byrne of North Haverhill, NH.  In addition, Angela leaves behind siblings: Scott, Penny, Danny, Keri, Kristine, Ron, Randy and their respective families; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as paternal aunts, Debra Buck-Chase of Littleton, NH, and Linda Buck of Lyndonville, VT.

At Angela’s request, there will be no service or calling hours.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 901 Monroe Road, Bath, NH at 1:00PM.
