Alana Beth Robinson, age 64 of Groton died February 25, 2019 in Manchester, NH.
She was born on March 13, 1954 in Hartford, CT and was the youngest child of Howard and Beryl (Newell) Clifford. She attended elementary school in East Hartford CT and graduated from George J. Penney High School in 1972. She attended Hartford Hospital School in Licensed Practical Nursing, graduating in 1973.
She worked as a nurse for Northeastern Regional Vermont Hospital, Caledonia Home Health and Dr. Ronald Spaulding all of St. Johnsbury VT. She also did private duty nursing for several people.
Alana married Martin Robinson on May 5, 2018.
Alana was a member of the First Congregational church in Lyndonville Vermont serving as a member of the Prudential Board, Deacon, and as treasurer. She was a past member of the St. Johnsbury Lions club and a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, the highest honor a Lion can receive.
Survivors include her loving husband Martin of Groton, where they shared their home; one son Duane Drown of St. Johnsbury, VT; grandsons Brandon and Rylee; step-daughters, Heidi Eames and husband Michael of N. Haverhill, NH, and Lydia Perry and grandson Carter Perry of Nashville, TN; brother Bruce and his wife Nancy Clifford of East Hartford, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; her former husband, Willy St. George; 2 brothers Duane Clifford and Gary Clifford; and one sister, Barbara Masciangioli.
Alana was a kind and caring person with a great love for her family. She will be greatly missed.
Friends may call to visit with the family at 10AM Friday, March 1st until the hour of services. Funeral Services will be held that day at 11AM Friday, March 1, 2019, at the First Congregational Church of Lyndonville with the Rev. Bruce Comiskey officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
